I have just installed the Minimum theme which has replaced the Pretty Pictures theme. I was wanting to know how to make the sample posts on the home page into images with a title. At the moment, I only have writing and no image at all. I would actually love to have the images one under the other like on the home page of the Pretty Pictures theme. Is there any way to do that? My site is http://www.strandsofmylife.com

    Yes Ma’am there is!

Genesis >> Theme Settings >> Scroll down to “Content Archives” section.

Check the “Include the Featured Image?” box.

    It’s auto-magically delicious.

Thanks for the reply, Mark. I already have that ticked. I thought that would do it too but I still don’t have any images there. I had a reply from Copynlogger and they said I had to change the coding and gave me a tutorial to read, which I haven’t done yet, but it sounds complicated.

I clicked on a few of your posts on the Home page and you do have featured images set. Ticking the Include Featured Image box should have done the trick. Sorry that didn’t work for you :-(

Wish I had a plan B for you.

    Hello Suzanneper,

May you please send me the tutorial you were sent? I am having the same issue.

Sorry it has taken me so long to find it but here is what they said: This theme uses the grid loop in the home.php file, so code editing is involved. This tutorial explains the parameters in that file.

    Hope that helps.
