Hi:
I'm trying to create a landing page with Instabuilder.I'm using the Genesis Framework with the Prose Child theme. I cannot get the landing page to be centered on the screen. The landing page is on the left side of the screen. It's almost as if there is a right sidebar even though nothing is being displayed in the sidebar.
I get this result no matter which page template I choose for the Prose Child theme, even if I choose the landing page template.
Here are more details about my set up (all the latest versions so far as I know):
WordPress 3.7.1
Genesis 2.0.1
Prose 1.5.2
Instabuilder 1.16For the Instabuilder landing page I am using a Single Column Page, 650 px, with the Clean Look Page Design.
I have tested this result by deactivating all of my other plugins. That did not change anything.
When I activate the Genesis Framework without the Prose Child theme, then the Instabuilder landing page is properly centered on the screen.
Any suggestions?

Here's a sample page that illustrates the problem I described:

Definitely a conflict of some sort, though I'm not able to see exactly what's going on because your CSS has been minified. Have you considered opening a ticket with InstaBuilder's support? They are likely in a better position to identify the issue since it's their product that isn't working well with the theme.

I opened a support ticket with Instabuilder, even before I posted here. So far, no response from them.
You say CSS is minified. Is that happening with Genesis? Is that something that can be turned off and on?
November 11, 2013 at 8:23 am #72297nutsandboltsMemberYes, it's a Prose option. If you look under Design Settings > General Settings, there is a checkbox toward the bottom to minify CSS. If you uncheck that and save, it will be turned off.

Now the landing page displays properly centered!

I toggled the minify setting a couple of times to test it and that seems to be the problem:
minify ON - landing page off center
minify OFF - landing page centered.Any idea why that would be the case?
Minify is still OFF.
November 11, 2013 at 8:31 am #72299nutsandboltsMemberMinified CSS can be a very good thing; it basically condenses all your styles so that your site loads faster. However, it can also cause front end problems when it combines certain CSS rules plus it makes those issues harder to identify - I'll never understand why that option is checked by default in Prose. There's no compelling reason to minify, especially if your site is newer and doesn't have speed issues, so I would leave it unchecked. 🙂
