Hi,
I placed a background image on the homepage instead of using color and now that background image is on every page I create???? I don't want the image on any pages, just the homepage. Is there something I'm missing?
http://www.tditechsolutions.comJuly 19, 2014 at 11:53 am #114940emasaiParticipantThe background image is on the body tag and every page has a body tag. I guess you added it through the custom background feature.
To get it to display on the home page only, you will have to first remove it and then specify in your css file
.home body.custom-background{
background-image: url('http://www.tditechsolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Homepage_BG.jpg');
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top center;
background-attachment: fixed;
}

July 19, 2014 at 12:05 pm #114942emasaiParticipantYes the css is for a responsive image, it's the code used by the theme.

Lynne emasai.comJuly 22, 2014 at 1:55 pm #115444ogrepraxyMemberHello Lynne,
I removed my background image, and then added your CSS to style.css (with the correct link to my image), but nothing is showing up on my home page.
Any ideas?
July 22, 2014 at 7:28 pm #115472emasaiParticipantThe path to the image is correct. Great image by the way. Try this instead
.home .custom-background{same code here} or
.home.custom-background{same code here}

Lynne emasai.comJuly 23, 2014 at 8:09 am #115508ogrepraxyMemberThat still isn't working.
I tried it as written and with the bold added (to make it the same as the previous code), but neither are loading the image for me. Any other ideas?
.home .home-featured{
background-image: url(‘http://new.donsbarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DonsBarn_Autumn-5_4.jpg’);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top center;
background-attachment: fixed;
}July 23, 2014 at 8:16 am #115509ogrepraxyMemberTo keep track of what I have tried, I am posting all variations here:
/* Background Image for Homepage ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .home body.custom-background{ background-image: url(‘http://new.donsbarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DonsBarn_Autumn-5_4.jpg’); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top center; background-attachment: fixed; } /* Background Image for Homepage ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .home .custom-background{ background-image: url(‘http://new.donsbarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DonsBarn_Autumn-5_4.jpg’); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top center; background-attachment: fixed; } /* Background Image for Homepage ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .home.custom-background{ background-image: url(‘http://new.donsbarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DonsBarn_Autumn-5_4.jpg’); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top center; background-attachment: fixed; } /* Background Image for Homepage ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .home. home-featured{ background: url(‘http://new.donsbarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DonsBarn_Autumn-5_4.jpg’); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top center; background-attachment: fixed; } /* Background Image for Homepage ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .home. home-featured{ background-image: url(‘http://new.donsbarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DonsBarn_Autumn-5_4.jpg’); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: top center; background-attachment: fixed; }
July 23, 2014 at 8:42 am #115513emasaiParticipantI don't know what to say it works for me. Take a look http://emasai.com/podris/
Try removing the single quotes.

Lynne emasai.comJuly 23, 2014 at 8:47 am #115517ogrepraxyMemberI'm sorry, which one is working for you? I have too many now and am getting confused. 🙂
Could you paste the exact code that is working for you?
Thank you, Lynne!
July 23, 2014 at 8:48 am #115519emasaiParticipant.home .home-featured{
background: url(http://new.donsbarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DonsBarn_Autumn-5_4.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: top center;
background-attachment: fixed;
}I placed it right under the body tag on line 157
You also have a php error showing, from ninja forms I believe.
