Hi,
I did my best to change the header logo size on the Parallax Pro theme to accommodate a logo that is 70 x 235. I changed style code as follows (bold indicates a change):
.header-image .site-title > a {
background-size: contain !important;
display: block;
height: 70px;
text-indent: -9999px;
max-width: 235px;.title-area {
float: left;
padding: 20px 0px;
width: 235px;.genesis-nav-menu a {
color: #000;
display: block;
font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;
padding: 32px 20px;
}.site-title {
font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;
font-size: 30px;
font-weight: 400;
letter-spacing: 1px;
line-height: 1;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin-top:4px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}I also changed the functions code as follows:
//* Add support for custom header
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
'width' => 235,
'height' => 70,Now when you click on the top-right menu, the menu sort of jumps in from the right when you change pages. Help! Any help in figuring out what code I missed would be very much appreciated.
The website is http://www.womenandtheweballiance.org but I added a plugin to keep in private until client approved. If you can take the time to take a look, I've created a subscriber account with username: studiopress and password: thanks
http://www.womenandtheweballiance.orgApril 14, 2015 at 3:37 pm #147925mjerbiMemberThis is disappointing. Not a single response to my Forum question. I also note via http://demo.studiopress.com/parallax/ that this jumping problem may be a defect in the theme itself versus something I did. Many of the Showcase themes based on Parallax have jumping menus as well but not all. Anybody out there know how this is solved?
April 21, 2015 at 7:51 am #148665mjerbiMemberHere is code to fix the defect in Parallax where menus viewed in Explorer (the browser of choice for 60 percent of desktop users) jump/fly in from the right when you visit pages other than the homepage. This defect is viewable as of today (April 21, 2005) at the demo site at http://demo.studiopress.com/parallax/ as well as several showcase themes based on Parallax at http://frozenpeaks.com/, http://roofersuniondc.com/, http://ebizelephant.com/, http://www.mycocoshea.com/, http://www.surroundslandscaping.com, etc. This defect does not effect one-page websites where the menu links to widget homepage subsections. The theme Altitude contains the same defect as of today.
You can remove the following CSS:
a,
input:focus,
input[type="button"],
input[type="reset"],
input[type="submit"],
textarea:focus,
.button {
-webkit-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
-moz-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
-ms-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
-o-transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
transition: all 0.1s ease-in-out;
}Alternatively, you can add the following after the CSS rule above.
.genesis-nav-menu a {
-webkit-transition: none;
-moz-transition: none;
-ms-transition: none;
-o-transition: none;
transition: none;
}Good luck all!
