    The following are known bugs for Genesis 2.0.0, and fixes for that will also appear in Genesis 2.0.1. (which means it’s fine on this occasion to edit core Genesis files, if you’re comfortable doing so).

    1. Trying to log in to admin gives either a whitescreen, or the following error:

    Catchable fatal error: Argument 3 passed to Genesis_Settings_Sanitizer::add_filter() must be an array, string given, called in …wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/classes/sanitization.php on line 287 and defined in …wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/classes/sanitization.php on line 69

    See http://gamajo.com/type-hint-bug/ for more explanation and a fix.

    2. SSL sites show a warning on What’s New admin page, or front-end with IE.

    This is due to the hard-coding of http: in:
    – Lead Developer gravatar strings in lib/admin/whats-new.php
    – Contributor gravatar strings in lib/functions/general.php
    – HTML5Shiv reference in lib/js/load-scripts.php

    Removing the http: from all of the instances so that the URLs start with // fixes the problem.

    3. Linked Post Authors are being displayed as HTML, instead of actual links. In lib/shortcodes/post.php, replace line 170 and 171, from:

    $author = '<a href="' . esc_url( $url ) . '" title="' . esc_attr( sprintf( __( 'Visit %s’s website', 'genesis' ), $author ) ) . '" rel="author external">' . esc_html( $author ) . '</a>';
    $output = sprintf( '<span class="author vcard">%2$s<span class="fn">%1$s</span>%3$s</span>', esc_html( $author ), $atts['before'], $atts['after'] );

    with:

    $link = '<a href="' . esc_url( $url ) . '" title="' . esc_attr( sprintf( __( 'Visit %s’s website', 'genesis' ), $author ) ) . '" rel="author external">' . esc_html( $author ) . '</a>';
    $output = sprintf( '<span class="author vcard">%2$s<span class="fn">%1$s</span>%3$s</span>', $link, $atts['before'], $atts['after'] );

    4. Events Calender and bbPress and maybe other plugins being activated, give the following Genesis error:

    Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in (…) /wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/functions/general.php on line 293″

    In genesis/lib/functions/general.php, line 269, right before the foreach that appears on line 270, add:

    $post_type_names = array();

    5. Enabling the custom post type archive settings, but not setting a document title, results in no document title.

    In lib/structure/header.php, change line 175 from:

    $title = genesis_get_cpt_option( 'doctitle' );

    to

    $title = genesis_get_cpt_option( 'doctitle' ) ? genesis_get_cpt_option( 'doctitle' ) : $title;
