Tagged: layout options
I had my welcome (static page) page with secondary sidebars but now they are gone and I am unable to restore that setting.
I have noticed that I cannot change the layout options in the theme settings.
I’ve tried the layout extra plugin but that does not work either.
NOR can I change layout options on a per page or post basis.
I also keep getting an error message when I log onto the dashboard at WordPress saying my browser is insecure!
I am using IE 11. How is this possible?
At times, I change to compatibility view and this allows me to select certain areas of theme options.
But alas, it is not doing it today.
Is there something I’m missing, thanks?
As of now, static page is being displayed on homepage.
1. Disable all plugins and check for the issue.
2. If issue persist, check issue by activating sample Genesis theme to isolate on probable source of the problem.
Well, hello there and thanks for your response.
I’ll go ahead and start disabling plugs, thanks so much!
I just discovered that when I use Firefox instead of IE11, I am able to change layout settings but NOT with IE.
Anyone else experienced this?
Perhaps there is an issue with WordPress and IE?
(I don’t use Firefox generally as the fonts never look good, nor layout on any webpages)
I am not aware of such conflict issue between WordPress and IE. Can you check if this issue happens in Google Chrome?
If things work fine in Chrome and Firefox – implies possible issue with IE. In that case you can try updating IE or run Windows update to download latest fixes.
The issue doesn’t occur with Google Chrome OR Firefox.
Yes, I have all updates so the issue is a mystery.
Thanks for your feedback btw.
