    Hello guys!

    I’m using Genesis Magazine theme. I am wondering, how do you add a widget area before post? I read many posts but mostly are all about on specific pages or homepage and even after post.

    Any ways you could assist me with?

    After reading some, I realized my code is pretty ‘halfway’. Please see the below:

    Functions.php :

    1.

    /** Register widget areas */

    genesis_register_sidebar( array(
    ‘id’ => ‘cta-1′,
    ‘name’ => __( ‘Call to Action #1′, ‘gm’ ),
    ‘description’ => __( ‘This is the call to action section.’, ‘gm’ ),
    ) );

    2.

    add_action( ‘genesis_after_header’, ‘gm_cta_genesis’ );

    Now, what should I do next to set it to show on all posts only?

    Sorry not so technie so… apologies!

    Reginald

    Please copy and paste this PHP code from the view raw link and paste it the end of your child themes functions.php file.

    You can change the hook position easily.

    *could only try out at home (at work now) but set it resolved first.

    Take care!
