Hi I have adjusted the setting in the slider to 738x495, asked it to include the particular posts and still it is not accurately pulling in the images. I loaded the images in the post 2 ways. First I did it as a featured image and when that didn't work I loaded it as an image withing the post (which is really just the photo....no text)
How do I get the photos to display correctly? Should I adjust the home slider css....if so what should I put?
All help appreciated. Thanks

Yes, Genesis Responsive Slider and yes, I sized them as noted above 🙂
Thanks!

Make sure you're pulling the posts / pages that you want it to and the image dimensions are correct there. Make sure the featured image you're adding is the size set in the Genesis Responsive Slider settings and it should work.

Not sure what might have happened the first time, but the featured image should be what directs the image to the slider. Tested on the Stress and Anxiety post and it pulls in the featured image just fine.
Also, the image in the post is not the same size as you're noting in the slider, so that will lead to some visual issues as well.

March 25, 2013 at 3:25 am #31069calendargirlParticipantYes, I could always get them to pull in but the pictures are coming in accurately. The pictures are all around 738x495 and the slider is set for 738x495. So I am asking why are they not pulling in correctly if the settings is basically the same as the pic?
Sorry for the back and forth....and I've used this slider before without issue....just can't figure this one out. Do you think it could be code I need to change since it is not the original size Agency intended? I ask because most of the pics are cut dramatically because of the height.
March 25, 2013 at 2:07 pm #31169weslindaMemberThe images have to be EXACTLY what you're setting the slider. Not really just "around". Otherwise the resizing of the images by WordPress won't be done smoothly. For example, the image on Axiety is actually 795 x 604. I created a second version of the image at the exact dimensions of the slider, works perfectly.
The sliders can be very finicky so you have to make sure you're being exact with your image sizes OR your being exact with aspect ratio. Best is to create the right image size out of the gate.
