Hi,
No clue how to properly describe this, but I’m looking for a gallery type plugin with text. A perfect example is found on Mac life:
http://www.maclife.com/article/gallery/5_alternatives_skype_ios_and_mac
(scroll down to top 5 skype alternatives)
What plugin are they using or is this custom?
Is there another plugin that you can use for the same effect?
Note, I’m looking for a plugin for gallery posts not a front page slider or simple image gallery.
AskMen seems to have a similar type of plugin though I’m guessing theirs is custom.
thanks!
December 31, 2012 at 10:01 pm #8671Hi there, that particular website is built with Drupal and my guess is that the slider is a Drupal thing. It is called “Future US” which seems like a Drupal associated thing from a quick Google search. I don’t know Drupal so not sure.
I haven’t seen a slider like that with text that seems to have a flexible height to contain it. It is very nice and stylish. Keep looking.

It’s not a plug-in – it’s a tutorial on adding text to featured images.
Susan @ Graphically Designing I’d love to customize your website! I tweet!

You can look at Codecanyon.net for something similar to this.

Here it is. Maybe this will work for you and you can customize the CSS – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yslider/. Check out the demo.
