Could someone please point me in the right direction on how to get my about page published in a top-level menu?

I have already created an about page in wordpress, and have saved it as a draft.   But I have no idea what steps I need to have it published in an ‘About’ section on the top level menu of the magazine theme

The magazine demo site has a top-level menu (menu with ‘home’, ‘sample’, layouts’, etc).

My site does not have any menu: Mom Goes Online  .  I would like to add a top-level menu, with ‘Home’ linking to my home page (which is currently one post), and ‘About’ linking to the about page I have created (URL: momgoesonline.com/about/).

I have tried to find  a tutorial for this… without luck.  So anyone being able to help and/or point me in the right direction: thank you in advance!

Just publish the page and go to wp-admin > appearance > menus and add the page to the menu. You can drag and drop to position the menus how you want them.
