    Good day from Germany,

    I use the template “executive pro”. I noticed the following:

    I have the top 6 menu items. As in the demo version (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/executive/ # demo-full)

    I now pick the sub-item “content / SlideBar” from the menu item (page layouts) is colored ausgewälte the sub-item “content / SlideBar” turquoise.
    For a better overview, I find the following better:

    If a sub-item is selected, the menu item remains in color and not the invisible sub-item.

    Can you understand my english?

    Best Regards

    I think so. Looks like there is a class current-menu-ancestor or current-menu-parent that you could use. Try:

    .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-ancestor,
    .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-parent {
        background: #4BE0D4;
    }

    You wouldn’t have to get rid of the submenu’s color. But if you do, try:

     .executive-pro-teal .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a {
        background: #fff;
        color: #666;
    }
