    Hello, super noob here!

    How can I change the width of the menu bar in a child theme? I want it to be the same width as the content. Can it be done via CSS only? I’m trying to customize the Sample Child theme. Please see attached image.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    I will take a crack at this.

    I had to make two css adjustments to the child’s style.css file.

    [css]
    /* set a width and center the navigation */
    .nav-primary{
    max-width: 1140px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    /* add left padding to the first element */
    .genesis-nav-menu > .first > a {
    padding-left: 2.8rem 2.4rem;
    }[/css]
