    Hi,

    This is probably a very simple question but I’ve spent hours trying to figure it out. Right now I have an image I’m using for a member login button, but I would prefer to have the CSS type of button I see on many other Minimum theme sites, including the demo.

    Here’s my site:

    http://www.investingsystems.net

    I just need the code and instructions and perhaps an image(?) to recreate the member Login Button with the jazzy mouseover color. I really want it to look exactly like the current button without using the current gif. I also need to know if it will work in a side menu since I want the placement the same.

    Any help is much appreciated and please be very specific as I’m not a CSS master.

    Hi!

    If you’re wanting to mimic the “Subscribe Now” button as seen as the demo, you just need to add a particular class to your link.

    For your “Member Login” case, add a link as such: <a class="page-title-button" href="http://LOGINlocation">Member Login</a>.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi,
    Thanks so much for the reply, but unfortunately when I use Member Login

    All that shows up is a link “Members Login” and there’s no button. I would assume the button itself would have properties as far as the size, color, mouseover color, etc. but that code doesn’t produce a button, only a link. I tried it both in a side widget and in an actual page.

    Maybe I’m missing something…

    PS. sorry I pasted in the code you suggested for the button and as you see it created just a link, just like it did on my site

    I realize what’s up now — you’re using version 1.01 of Minimum. I was assuming you were using the latest version.

    So, to confirm, you want the button as seen in the new version of minimum at http://demo.studiopress.com/minimum ?

    Adding this CSS to your style.css and then using the class as indicated above should take care of it.

    a.page-title-button {
    -moz-border-radius: 5px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 5px;
    background-color: #3e3e3e;
    border-radius: 5px;
    color: #fff;
    float: right;
    font-size: 24px;
    margin: 7px 45px 0 0;
    padding: 11px 20px 10px;
    }

    a.page-title-button:hover {
    background-color: #ed702b;
    }

    Hi,
    Thank you so much again for your help. Yes, I am still using the older version because I’m afraid to upgrade since the site looks exactly how I want it to look and upgrading could potentially create new problems or send me back to the drawing board to get it back to how it looks right now.

    I’ll try your suggestion later and mark it resolved if it works.

    Cheers!
