I have been using Generate for the http://www.sociedadeinternacional.com site and over the course of time I made a myriad of adjustments (to Generate, not Genesis). I am happy with the looks, but I struggle with responsive factor when viewing the site in portrait on tablets (e.g. iPad) or smart phones. Last two right-most menu items spill over into generate box (which itself has been butchered beyond recognition) and it does not look very appealing.
Any ideas how to fix this? Maybe disable generate box altogether on smaller resolutions?
Thank you in advance for your feedback!
While this won’t fix the CSS look, you can do this. Add to #nav
background: url(images/nav.png) repeat-x;
Thank you Travis, your tips (especially
height: auto; and overflow: hidden;) helped me in the right direction. I should be able to fix the visuals now, or at least make them better.
