Hi everyone – I’m new here and was hoping that someone might be able to help me.  I need to change the width/height of the right header widget (the one in the header line).   I want to add an optin that is wider than tall and right now it doesn’t fit (where it says Optin Here).  Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Susan

    Hi Susan

If you edit a couple of values in your style.css file you can change this. style.css can be found in your /wp-content/theme/YOUR-THEME-NAME folder via FTP (make a copy of the style.css file first if you’re not 100% sure on what you’re doing).

Scroll down till you find this text in style.css:

    `/*
    14 Media Queries
    —————————————————————————————————- */`

Then just above it on a new line add the following code and save the changes:

    `#title-area { width: 60%; }`

    `#header .widget-area { width: 40%; }`

or whatever proportions you want as long as they’re always add up to 100%

Please do back up first though if you’re not sure on this
