In the Metro child theme, you have the option in the settings of using either today’s date or the search form in the right side of the nav bar. I’d like to use the search form in the nav bar and put the date in the header. The CSS part of positioning is fine, but how does one have both active at once rather than one or the other? (I know using the search widget is one workaround to put that below, but I’d prefer the search form in the nav bar).

    Thanks!

pxlar8 – where in the header did you want the date?

I’d like to overlay the header image, putting the date immediately below the “Travel + Time-Lapse” bit at right so it just looks like another line of text (the existing text is an image): http://havecamerawilltravel.com
