    Dear all,

For what seems like an interminable amount of time now I have been attempting to add a responsive custom header to my Genesis Metro theme. I have made various changes to the functions and style and then had to reverse them. I have literally tried every solution offered and had no success.

The point I am at now is that when I select the header image I can see that it appears correctly as the header but is covered by a large, blank blue box (blue being my metro colour).

When I select ‘remove header image’ the blank box disappears and is replaced with the original, small Metro header.

Can anyone suggest a remedy for this?

    Infinite thanks,

    Pete

Without seeing your site, it’s hard to troubleshoot, but this tutorial might help you:
