    Working on a site for a Pastor friend. I’ve set him up to use the Metro child theme. We want to use a custom header image and used the header interface to up load it.

    It should be http://bill-hayes.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/rev-bill-head-new.jpg
    but somehow what is output is http://bill-hayes.org/

    Why is the image being covered over, and where can I fix whatever is messing this up?

    Yes I did, thanks to the support desk. I meant to come back and share the fix in case anyone else needed it, and then forgot to do so.

    There was this in the stylesheet:
    .header-image #title a {
    background: none;
    padding: 0;
    }

    I changed this to:
    .header-image #title a {
    background: none !important;
    padding: 0;
    }

    And that did the trick.
