    I just want to change the “featured posts” on that particular page to be with a white background and not the cream.  I’m not good at explaining and have firebug.  Not the div#wrap but the opposite of that if it makes sense.  I can’t figure out how to change the color.

    This has to be simple but I’m having no luck.

    Hi!
    I can’t find a cream color on there, just white, but if I’m following you, you could do something like this for the Post excerpt at the top. CSS to add: (I just picked a beige-ish color at random)

    [css]
    .featuredpost {
    background-color: #FCF9E5;
    }
    [/css]

    Of course, the text will meet the edge of the color, but it’s a start.
