    Is there a way to remove the default borders from images that are in pages, and keep those that are in posts? Thanks!

    I guess I’ll add this: I’d also like to know how to remove borders from images in the widget area.

    And the site is here: http://maricarmac.com/

    Thanks in advance!

    The content image border is in .entry-content img{}

    And you can specify:
    body.page .entry-content img{border:none;}

    That should do it.

    #sidebar img {
    border: none!important;

    I’m sure there’s something better, but that’s quick and dirty.

    Thank you! I had to tweak it (needed a space here and there), but it worked.

    For the body:

    .page .entry-content img{border: none !important;}

    And then for the sidebar, add the following  under sidebar .img {

    border: none !important;

    A space before !important; is necessary.

    I wanted to keep the original formatting on most images, but also have the option to remove the formatting on some. So I created a CSS class I call no-border-image, and use it on the fly. I added this to child theme’s CSS:

    img.no-border-image {
    border: none !important;
    box-sizing: content-box !important;
    padding: 0;

    Now, whenever I want an image without border, and the correct sizing, I add the class no-border-image. To do this, using the visual editor in WordPress, click on an image, click on the settings icon, go to “advanced”, paste “no-border-image” (without the quotes) in the CSS Class field.
