I'm looking for some help replacing the Minimum theme "Background" image with a full-width responsive slider. I've tried a few different code variations and have tried using another slider plugin (as opposed to Genesis Responsive Slider), but to no avail.
Has anyone figured this out and willing to share their code?

Here's the easiest solution to add a responsive slider full width in the Minimum pro home page http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/minimum-pro-slideshow-on-homepage/#post-59681

Hey there @braddalton maybe you could help me. I've tried adding the slider (Easing Slider "Lite") and then tried to add the coding as you suggested, but think I'm adding the code in the wrong place because it is doing nothing.
The site I'm working on is - http://www.insidedesigncuisine.com/
When the slider does show up, it only runs the span of the post. Is there a way I can add the slider with a single picture 965x284 to all pages - showing across the entire page (like on danielnovoa.com).
This is my first Genesis theme. I appreciate any helpSeptember 3, 2013 at 10:38 pm #60567
Yes. The second code snippet works http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/minimum-pro-slideshow-on-homepage/#post-59681
Please copy the code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++
You will need to add images to the slider plugin settings.

@braddalton - That worked!! Thanks you!
Is there a way to add the slider above the "See Hear Taste" & Social Media bar (instead of below)?September 4, 2013 at 12:17 am #60576
Yes you can easily change the hook position.

@braddalton I downloaded the genesis simple hooks plugin and added the code to the box where I want the slider (genesis_before_header Hook) , but it is showing up as the coding text - not the slider. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks again for your time.September 5, 2013 at 8:55 pm #61014
The code needs to be pasted at the end of your child themes functions.php file, no need to use Simple Hooks.
