I will preface by saying I am a somewhat noob when it comes to designing and have tried to figure stuff out on my own but I am running into a bump
I was trying to setup of the Minimum Pro theme similar to the demo with the social icons and they just stack directly next to each other. I tried to adjust different paddings and such but that did not help me.
Anyway, I would just like them spaced similar to the demo. If anyone could help me with that. And also if anyone wants to point me in the direction of good learning resources, I am all ears

In Minimum Pro, you need separate instances of Simple Social Icons, one for each of the home featured widget areas. See the setup instructions here: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/minimum-theme/ - hopefully that makes sense.

April 26, 2014 at 11:03 am #102455nutsandboltsMemberIt happens! I'm a firm believer that people lose the ability to see once they've stared at a project for more than an hour or so. 🙂

At the risk of sounding needy, how do I make them now horizontal? They are seeming to stack vertically
April 26, 2014 at 11:26 am #102466nutsandboltsMemberI'm seeing the following in your stylesheet:
.home-featured-1, .home-featured-2, .home-featured-3, .home-featured-4 { float: left; text-align: center; width: 100%; }
The original CSS is as follows:
.home-featured-1, .home-featured-2, .home-featured-3, .home-featured-4 { float: left; text-align: center; width: 25%; }
If you're only going to use 3 buttons and not 4, you might try 33% for the width.

I changed it to 50 and then they were stacked like 2 on each side and your instruction brings that all clearly into focus.
Thank you so much for your help! I really really appreciate it. I imagine it will not be the last time I am seen around these parts
April 26, 2014 at 11:36 am #102474nutsandboltsMemberNo problem! Glad I was able to help. 🙂
