I’m trying to show (and then change) the Home Featured Image in the Minimum theme. Currently I have the out-of-the-box Minimum theme installed without making any customization. No Home Featured Image shows.
According to this: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/minimum-theme/#featured I should just be able to change the sample.jpg file. But nothing is showing up to begin with, so changing the image doesn’t seem to matter.
I don’t see any obvious options in the widgets menu to make this work.
I tried using the Genesis Minimum Images Extended plugin, but I don’t see where it shows up in the WordPress dashboard. Not sure it’s compatible with Genesis 2.0.
Is there something else I need to do to enable this image?

If you deactivate the plugin, does the Sample Image display?
If so, simply replace that image in your child themes images folder with another the same size and use the same file name and extension.
No, that doesn’t help. I have all plugins disabled now, but still no image showing.
Another other ideas?
It displays the Sample image by default when you first install it. Did you make any changes?
Found the problem: On the Reading Settings, it must be set to “Your latest posts.” I had it set to a static page, which seemed to be causing the problem.
Thanks for your help!
