Hi,
I have 3 different websites using Magazine Pro theme (latest Genesis and latest WP version) that have the same problem. By looking at the logs I saw that all visitors using Safari/iOS get 404 errors for most of the page images and even some js files (related to both theme and some plugins) like:
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-includes/js/wp-embed.min.js?ver=1781452165c64a5756cdbb2c9311f7ad
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-content/plugins/footable/js/footable.min.js?ver=0.3.1
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/my-image.jpg
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/my-image-100x100.jpg
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/header-banner-728x90.gif
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-content/plugins/footable/js/footable.paginate.min.js?ver=0.3.1
hxxp://mywebsite/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/my-image.jpg
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-content/themes/magazine-pro/js/responsive-menu.js?ver=1.0.0
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.3
hxxp://mywebsite.net/wp-includes/js/wp-embed.min.js?ver=1781452165c64a5756cdbb2c9311f7adThe websites are working well except for the missing images. The strange thing is that if I refresh the page, it can be that some of the images that didn't show up before, are now visible and other images don't show. I've made a search on google and it seems that there are a lot of people having the same problem.
On the Apple's forum I found a "fix" but unfortunately It doesn't work for Genesis too (see below):
"
It was a problem with the wordpress installed theme for the website (hxxps://booksmango.com) and not Safari:
Fix is following (it seems many wordpress sites have similar issues with Safari 9):
log into your WordPress site; go to Theme Options / General and add following to your Custom CSS:
html:not(.mobile-true) #main img:not(.animate-element, .ls-s-1),
html:not(.mobile-true) #header img,
html:not(.mobile-true) #bottom-bar img {
opacity: 1 !important;
}
"
Can anyone help me with this? 95% of my visitors are mobile users and almost half of them are using Safari/iOS so my website is looking "un-professional" with all those missing images.Thanks,

Have you requested your free website audit yet?May 9, 2016 at 2:23 pm #185314demmMemberThanks Victor.
One of them is techspecifications.net . The other are gambling related so I don't really want to post them here. If you agree I can send a PM (if I'm allowed).May 11, 2016 at 9:05 am #185407demmMemberUpdate:
It seems that jQuery migrate 1.4.0 cause this problem after the WP 4.5 update. It is possible that I'm the only one using Genesis that actually have this problem? Can someone check their website (possibly using Magazine pro) to see how it looks on mobile devices using Safari/iOS?
May 11, 2016 at 3:57 pm #185416demmMemberIf there is someone interested, I found a fix for the problem above (after searching on G):
Code snippet for functions.php:function modify_jquery() {
if (!is_admin()) {
wp_deregister_script('jquery');
wp_register_script('jquery', 'https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.3.min.js');
wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
}
}
add_action('init', 'modify_jquery');I did not wrote this code and don't guarantee that will work on your website too but I've made a test on one of my "affected" websites and everything seems to work just fine.

Any idea will be much appreciated.Thanks
