    Heya guys,

I want to make some simple CSS changes to the Education theme. Rather than modifying style.css is there another way to link a custom.css and custom_funtions.php file in order to overwrite certain CSS rules and add other functions?

Any comments or guidance is highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

That will just add more overhead to your theme. You can easily make changes in existing style.css file and these changes won’t disappear when you update to new version of Genesis. To be on safe side, copy contents of style.css and functions file in a notepad file separately as a backup.
