I’ve been a blogger for two years but only have recently begun to take it seriously. My husband purchased the Genesis framework for me as an anniversary present. I’m a geek that way and love it! (and him, too, of course!)
I think I’m done fiddling with my site, there may be more fiddling with the individual posts and such.
However, if you could review it for me I would be ever so grateful. That would be totally awesome.
The site is http://www.LJSkool.com.
By the way, I wanted to get it to look like this theme (mythemeshop.com/themes/glamour), mostly the way the “featured posts” is laid out horizontally instead of vertically, but this will work for now. However, that is not based on Genesis, now is it? That will not work if I want to be taken seriously in the blogosphere.

Welcome to Genesis! Nice start on your site! My only comment would be that I find the two sidebars next to each other to be a little “busy”, but you have a lot you want to show off, so I can understand the need to have them both.
Looks cool,A perfect start. As mentioned by susan you can stripe the second sidebar and give more space for content.
One thing I found annoying is the text are not clickable,I understand the need but that leaves me bad impression.
Love the content…but I think it gets lost. Too much noise. Running Content–Sidebar—Sidebar can be dangerous. I tend only to use that layout when I am using the area for graphics (not content).
