    I have a widget that is adding a border from the Sidebar border. I want the blue border around the sidebar, but not the NextGen slide show. It is being added by .sidebar .widget. When I remove the border from here it goes, when I add it back it appears. When I use the NextGen slide show else were there is not a border.

    Help please. I cannot get rid of it.

    Thank you,

    You need to be more precise as to where the border shows, it looks like you left out some information in your post.

    Sorry, go to one of the inside pages, http://erp-access.com/about-us/. The issue is in the sidebar where you see the small slider. There is an extra border around it.

    Ok I just looked at your page on ipad and you have have borders on 3 sides that you want to get rid of? BTW, the sidebar is out of whack on ipad landscape, but OK on portrait. I will take a look tomorrow on main computer.

    I do not have an iPad. It is fine on iPhones, tablets and Kindles. What is wrong with the sidebar on iPad?

    If you can help get rid of the extra border around the small slider I would be grateful.

    Janet

    These lines need to be removed on line 1700
    .sidebar .widget {
    /* border-top: 1px solid #1B4893; */
    /* border-bottom: 1px solid #1B4893; */
    /* border-left: 1px solid #1B4893; */

    On Ipad landscape the sidebar slides below the content. Go to http://ipadpeek.com/ and put in the URL of your page, you will see what I mean.

    Yes, but I do want the border around the actual sidebar. If I remove them there will be no border around the sidebar. There must be a way to leave the border on the sidebar, but remove them from the slider widget…

    Thank you for the link to ipadpeek. It was very helpful, and I was able to correct the sidebar issue. I still need help correcting the second blue border that is appearing around the slider widget in the sidebar.

    Here is the widget code I am using:

    .sidebar .widget {
    	background-color: #f8f8f8;
    	box-shadow: 0 0 0 1px #1B4893;
    	margin-bottom: 20px;
    	padding: 30px 40px;
    	padding: 3rem 4rem;
    	word-wrap: break-word;
    }

    I want to leave the blue border around the sidebar widgets, but remove it from around the slider.

    The slideshow is picking up the box-shadow from the sidebar widget. So you will have to write a new rule for the ngg_slideshow .widget and use box-shadow: none; or box-shadow; 0 0 0 1px #f8f8f8;

    I tried both:

    .ngg_slideshow .widget {
     box-shadow: none;
    }
    .ngg_slideshow .widget {
     box-shadow: none !important;
    }

    But the border is still there. I had tried the none before, but was not sure if I had the .widget after it.

    I emailed you through your website. You might have to be very specific in your css targeting and place it after the .widget styling.

    I added a widget-wrap with the border, and that solved the issue.

    I’m glad you got it sorted out. Please mark this post as Resolved, there has been a discussion recently on the forum about this and it would help out the Mods.
