I have a widget that is adding a border from the Sidebar border. I want the blue border around the sidebar, but not the NextGen slide show. It is being added by .sidebar .widget. When I remove the border from here it goes, when I add it back it appears. When I use the NextGen slide show else were there is not a border.
Help please. I cannot get rid of it.
Thank you,

BTW, the sidebar is out of whack on ipad landscape, but OK on portrait. I will take a look tomorrow on main computer.

If you can help get rid of the extra border around the small slider I would be grateful.
Janet

.sidebar .widget {
/* border-top: 1px solid #1B4893; */
/* border-bottom: 1px solid #1B4893; */
/* border-left: 1px solid #1B4893; */On Ipad landscape the sidebar slides below the content. Go to http://ipadpeek.com/ and put in the URL of your page, you will see what I mean.

Lynne emasai.comFebruary 20, 2014 at 9:09 pm #91538mountashMemberYes, but I do want the border around the actual sidebar. If I remove them there will be no border around the sidebar. There must be a way to leave the border on the sidebar, but remove them from the slider widget...

I still need help correcting the second blue border that is appearing around the slider widget in the sidebar.
Here is the widget code I am using:
.sidebar .widget { background-color: #f8f8f8; box-shadow: 0 0 0 1px #1B4893; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 30px 40px; padding: 3rem 4rem; word-wrap: break-word; }
I want to leave the blue border around the sidebar widgets, but remove it from around the slider.

Lynne emasai.comFebruary 21, 2014 at 9:39 am #91640mountashMemberI tried both:
.ngg_slideshow .widget { box-shadow: none; }
.ngg_slideshow .widget { box-shadow: none !important; }
But the border is still there. I had tried the none before, but was not sure if I had the .widget after it.
