Hi,
http://live-support.info/remote/
I just set up my site http://live-support.info/remote/
But I need your help to make it look like this one http://thefourwinds.com/ (it's also using the executive pro child theme)
Lists of things:
- Change the color of the primary and secondary to the four winds
- Add the "search box" to the secondary like the four winds
- Add "Question" and Phone number below the primary menu like the four winds website.
- On the home page of the four winds website, there are a "Request More Information" form and two banners below it. So how can I add them to my website?
I really appreciate for helping me with this stuff 🙂August 30, 2014 at 10:12 pm #121980Brad DaltonParticipantHere's a solution for changing the color of the primary nav menu
And adding a search box to any nav menu

Thank you for your reply. It worked. I changed the color of navigation and add the search box to the primary menu. However, i got an issue with the search button below the search box. How to remove it?
Another thing is On the home page of the four winds website, there are a “Request More Information” form and two banners below it. So how can I add them to my website?
Once again thank for your help 🙂August 31, 2014 at 2:09 pm #122098Brad DaltonParticipantDid you add the button back using custom code?
Line 630, your code has been modified to add the button, add the default code back which removes it
.search-form input[type="submit"] { border: 0; clip: rect(0, 0, 0, 0); height: 1px; margin: -1px; padding: 0; position: absolute; width: 1px; }
Or remove the search button from the nav menu only
.genesis-nav-menu .search-form input[type="submit"] { border: 0; clip: rect(0, 0, 0, 0); height: 1px; margin: -1px; padding: 0; position: absolute; width: 1px; }
Better to stick to one question per topic as each question needs some work to get it resolved. Thanks

I didn't do any thing except add this code from the link you shared.custom-search { margin-top: 5px; margin-bottom: 4px; float: right; width: 100%; }
Can you please explain me what to do more detail?
Thanks

I can your CSS using Firebug on Line 630 of your style.css file. This is the code you have added
.genesis-nav-menu .search input[type="submit"], .widget_search input[type="submit"] { border: 0; clip: rect(0, 0, 0, 0); height: 1px; margin: -1px; padding: 0; position: absolute; width: 1px; }
I have provided my answer already above and tested it using Firebug
Please mark this question as resolved and start a new topic for any additional questions. Thanks

That code is in the theme from studio, I didn't add it. I followed your instruction to delete those code from CSS but it did not work :(. I spent the whole afternoon but still in vain. Did you mean just delete those code? or change to something else?
Sorry for bothering you with this stuff but it seems that you're the only person can help me 🙁Thanks
