    For the Genesis framework and Outreach theme, is there a way to alter the navigation menu so that the buttons are not just squares?  Similar to www.stlouisedemarillac.org?

    How would I center the navigation buttons I have in the nav menu already?

    Thank you,

    Owen

    Thanks Susan. It’s unresolved at this point. If there’s a way to do this with CSS, that would be great. Thanks!

    Hi there,

    If I understand you would like to remove the white background when you hover over the menu item correct?

    Try this in your css file

    .menu-primary li a:hover {
              background-color: inherit;
    }

    For the centering:

    .menu-primary {
            text-align: center;
    }
    .menu-primary li {
            float: none;
            display: inline-block;
    }

    If you are also wanting to center the right-hand menu item (the twitter link in the demo site):

    .menu li.right {
           float: none;
    }

    Thanks, that definitely took care of the centering and nav menu. Rock on!
