Tagged: child theme
I am using the Agency child theme. Something strange has happened since I updated Genesis. Prior to upgrading, I could edit the widgets in place by using the arrow to open the widget panel (Appearance->widgets).
Now, I get the widgets without the arrow to click and when I want to edit the widget it takes me to a different layout (see screenshots)
Also, the homepage http://www.kerrisalls.com/dev now shows a sidebar - I do not want this.
There is a settings on the widgets screen to turn on accessability mode. Us ethe Screen Options tab to turn it off.
This is default in WordPress. It is not related to the upgrade nor is it controlled by Genesis.
The extra sidebar is probably coming from a plugin, like Genesis layout extras.
Thanks Andrea. I'm still on that learning curve - that was driving me nuts!
