    I’ve been trying to find a plugin that will also work on mobile that will pop up a box when you click on a link like on the page link below. Any recommendations?

    Have you looked at Anything Popup?

    I did look at that one but couldn’t see anywhere that it works on mobile.  And wrote to the developer on this one to see if it works on mobile:  http://www.grimmdude.com/wordpress-simple-auto-delay-popup-plugin/

    You can do it with simple html, though I didn’t test this in all browsers:

    <form>
    <p align=”center”><input onclick=”window.open(‘http://www.google.com’,’newwindow’, ‘width=500, height=500 ‘);” type=”button” name=”anythingyouwant” value=”Open Sesame” /></p>

    </form>

    just create a simple html page for each popup window, and insert the correct link for each.

    It was an idea!  I looked at a lot of plugins, premium and paid but we went PopPop since they decided mobile consideration is less priority but it works on my Droid; have to test it on iPad and iPhone.  It’s a free plugin.  Client will have to know some HTML, but that’s the way it is!
