This is my new design site. Your thoughts, plus any links (I could do with a few to get me started), would be appreciated.
It's a custom design built from scratch.

David,
Very impressive! The look is sumptuous. Excellent photos, and a tastefully done background swatch (which is rare). I enjoyed the texture over the photos.
There are a huge number of demos - this is different from the usual collection of live sites people have in a portfolio. That's an interesting idea... it allows you to only show the latest and greatest, rather than sites that you may have actually done differently, had your ideas been properly utilized. 🙂
A small thought - if it were me, I wouldn't bother with the javascript "content protection". Anyone who really wants to can easily get around that.
Super job, all around!
Dave

Thanks David. I had a look a your sites too. Very nice also.
I'd disagree with you about the javascript protection issue. I had a site that got caught up in the Panda mess. It was a victim of its own success with hundreds of articles copies many times over. Took me months to clean up and almost destroyed my life.
The main offenders weren't professionals that knew how to disable the content protection. They were just regular people posting stuff to their own blogs, Flickr accounts, Facebook pages etc. Most of these won't know how to do it.
I've put the content protection on and haven't noticed any significant copying since then.
I think it even makes people who know how to get around it think twice.
Now all my stuff is filed with the US Copyright Office. I don't intend to let it happen again.
I see your point, that's a good case for that.
Good show!
