The site is http://SexyYoungerYou.com .
I set up a custom header / optin on the homepage of the site and used the Simple Hooks plugin to add the code in so that the homepage has the header / optin and the other pages have a different header design.
I notice that the header on the pages are sizing from mobile but the homepage header / optin is not. I am a novice when it comes to coding. What can I do to get the homepage header to size correctly from a mobile device?
I really appreciate any help that you might have for me.

May 16, 2014 at 9:04 am #105488Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberYou need to add mobile styles to your @media queries, at the bottom of the page. It looks like this section may not be very straightforward for you to make responsive. You could always hire someone to help you with that bit, too.
Best,

May 18, 2014 at 6:56 pm #105801PainterMommyMemberNow the client is demanding that I fix their site ASAP. I have no idea what to do and don't have the money to pay a coder. I am already out big time on this project. I am desperate for some direction on this one.
May 18, 2014 at 7:38 pm #105803emasaiParticipantYour client paid you to build a site and if you do not know how to deliver the goods, take Lauren's advice and hire someone to help you fix what you do not know.
Your website DPK Graphic Design sells your services for a nice sum of money, and yet you cannot afford to pay a coder? This is not an expensive fix at all but neither is it a case of just "here's a bit of code". It requires writing specific mobile responsive css. If you are that hard up, you could always try WPTouch plugin, that's the only free advice I can give you.

Lynne emasai.comMay 18, 2014 at 9:18 pm #105811PainterMommyMemberThanks for your honest advice. I cannot even begin to explain the hardships of this particular project, so unfortunately, the well has run dry. 🙁 I did not realize that this would need additional coding or I would've definitely priced it in. I even did a similar header / optin on another client site using Genesis Hooks and did not have this problem (http://jeanniespiro.com).
When I have contacted coders in the past, they have charged me a LOT of money for their services so I have always tried to research and do things myself where I can. Do you have any suggestions for coders who can provide the code that I need to get this working by tomorrow morning?
I feel terrible for leaving my client hanging. They were supposed to launch their site this past week and they are demanding that I fix it ASAP. Sigh...
I will just pay out of my own pocket at this point. It was my mistake for assuming that the responsive feature would work with Genesis Hooks and this particular theme.
Again, I really appreciate your time and honest suggestions. I look forward to hearing from you.
