Hello,
I am using the New Pro theme and Genesis for the first time, some doubt please:
1) The footer on the Demo, is build with what widget? Are only pages add in footer1, footer2, etc or other?
2) Where can I enabled the author block on "single article"?
3) Google authorship, is enabled of default?
4) Shoul I enable the HTML 5 markup?
5) Is possible add below the content, in a single article, a block as in "Metro Theme", for newsletter?
6) In archive, as category list, where can I set the number of post to display? It show only 1 post.
7) I like very much, the font used on the blog of StudioPress (http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/load-google-fonts/); what are they?
8) Is there some particular setting or plugin, to use to speed up Genesis framework?
Thanks for all,
Regards!

1) The setup guide for News Pro (which explains exactly how to set up your site like the demo) is here: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/news-theme/
2) To enable the author box, go to Users > Your Profile in your dashboard and scroll down until you see the checkbox to enable the author box on the author's posts and archives. You'll need to do that for each user if you have more than one.
3) If you have entered your Google+ URL under Users > Your Profile, authorship will be enabled automatically.
4) I would recommend enabling HTML5. It should be active by default since you're using one of the HTML5-compatible child themes.
5) Yes, you can add a widget area easily to the end of single posts. Here's a tutorial: http://www.carriedils.com/after-entry-widget/
6) The number of posts that display in archives are set in Genesis > Theme Settings under the Content Archives section. However, the number of posts you choose to display must be less than or equal to your WordPress settings in Settings > Reading.
7) The title font on the page you linked to is Museo Sans and the content font is Proxima Nova. There are numerous tools you can use to identify fonts, such as the What Font extension for Chrome.
8) On its own, Genesis is very lightweight and loads very quickly, but the load times are affected by your hosting as well as any plugins you use. You can use a site like http://tools.pingdom.com to see your site's load times and what may be causing things to run more slowly than you'd like.

thank you very much. Only a help to understand how change default font, I read this article:
http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/load-google-fonts/
But sincerely, I am not an expert with fonts 😉
I searched Museo Sant and Proxima Nova on Google Fonts, but it redirect me on the site Fonts.com, so, are this fonts not free?
Thank you

January 26, 2014 at 6:17 am #87066nutsandboltsMemberMuseo Sans isn't; I know that one because it's the logo font for my business. I'm not sure about Proxima Nova. You can use non-Google fonts in WordPress themes as well using @font-face - http://wpsites.net/web-design/fonts-wordpress/

thanks again. I didn't believe that the Google font cloud affect in this way, the page load time; ; I have to be careful, even to which fonts choose 😉
Thank you!
