    I am new to the css/blogging world. However, I have managed to learn a good bit so far.

    My website ( http://www.usveterantribune.com ) is almost ready for launch and I tried to widen my sidebar and now a gap has been created between the content and sidebar. Additionally, ads in the sidebar appear to fall off the page into the background. I could greatly use someone’s help.

    Thanks a bunch!

    The horizontal lines are controlled by the PNGs located in the CSS here:

    [css].content-sidebar #inner {
    background: url("images/inner-cs.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    }
    .sidebar-content #inner {
    background: url("images/inner-sc.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    }
    .content-sidebar-sidebar #inner {
    background: url("images/inner-css.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    }
    .sidebar-sidebar-content #inner {
    background: url("images/inner-ssc.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    }
    .sidebar-content-sidebar #inner {
    background: url("images/inner-scs.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    }[/css]

    Because of the edits you’ve made you may have to either flip the image around or you may have to eliminate the image all together and add in colored vertical lines.
