I can’t seem to find the reason why one page of a site I have built is wider than the rest of the site. It’s not as noticeable on a desktop but on iPhone and iPad its obvious the screen width is wider for one page. I’d tried changing the CSS and putting content on new page, turning a few plugin features on and off but can’t seem to find the issue.

The page that has the issue is http://dascowoodworks.com/dasco-woodworks/ the rest of the site page widths are the same.

Not sure but i did notice your background images aren’t responsive.

Backstrech is a good solution for this.

thanks I will check your suggestion. I am using FWB Slider Pro for the background images – seems to work on all my devices/browsers except for Opera?

Is backstretch a plugin? When I try to download it just gives me code. Do I copy that code and upload to plugin folder?

Apologies for the many posts – also I have removed the background image and that doesn’t make any difference to the width issue.

I couldn’t see any problem and actually spent 20 minutes looking at your bathrooms and kitchens! hahaha

Installation of Bactstrech isn’t as simple as a plugin because it contains a .js file.

They offer premium support for installation.

LOL – they build nice places that’s for sure. Thank you so much for looking. Backstretch sounds complicated to me – I already paid for the current background plugin so not sure I want to pay for another.

Yeah it isn’t that easy to install and add the image.

I tested the site using this http://www.studiopress.com/responsive/

Oh thanks for that link. I thought that genesis sites were responsive …. so much to learn.

They are but that doesn’t mean every plugin installed is responsive which is the reason i suggested Backstretch which is a free solution.
