Hello Ladies and gents,
We have nearly finished updating most of the site for using Genesis and the Magazine theme.
We now face the issue of updating magazine to its latest version and then trying the beta genesis frame work to fix some issues but what do you all think?
All comments always greatly appreciated.
http://www.radleycollector.comThe header font 'Play' looks really odd to me. Kind of makes me think of a 90s era video game for some reason. I also think you could probably find a more elegant icon set. You are selling a feminine and pretty product so that part of the site feels a bit off to me.
Some of the photos are skewed - like this page for instance http://www.radleycollector.com/radleys-walk-in-the-woodsjourney/
I also feel like there are a ton of menu options. Maybe your audience is going to know exactly where to jump in, but I was a bit overwhelmed.

Thank you for that warning about the images. We thought we had double checked all the images on pages since the theme change but we will go through them.
To be honest we do understand what you mean about the font change, but we don't know how to change that as that's the standard one for the theme.
As for the menu, we will try and consolidate some, but for Radley collectors, there are so many ranges and we have already broke them down into years, we feel they need to be able to see them in the menus as that's a big draw, so will continue to think how to overcome this.
Thank you for all your thoughts !
Ugh, that can be a pain managing images after a theme change. Especially on a site with as much content as you have!
You could easily update that Play font to something else by doing a find and replace on the css. If you have a font in mind or find one at http://www.google.com/fonts/ I can help you update that 🙂
