    We’ve been trying for too long to get the nav in this theme to be bold text. Have tried adding font-weight: bold; to the CSS in .genesis-nav as well as in .nav-primary but to no avail.

    Suggestions please!!!!!

    Thanks,

    Hi,
    You have another spot that sets your font at 700, so the browser probably nullifies “bold”. You could try 800. It looks a bit bolder. But you’re not going to squeeze a whole lot more boldness out of that smallish font, I reckon, and you’ll also probably run into different browsers showing different thicknesses.

    This is the one that sets the original 700:
    [css]
    a {
    color: #4C5E6B;
    font-weight: 700;
    text-decoration: none;
    }[/css]

    Good luck,
    Dave
