I am working on my first website using Outreach theme.
I wanted to add the menu and search box to the top right of my image header and then center (image and additional menu and search box).
Similar to this one from a previous post: http://18.104.22.168/~bridgeo9/
Drag the search widget and custom menu widget into the header right widget area first. Then link to your site.
Thanks so much…I will try as soon as it is back up. The server is down right now.
Ok, my site is back up. http://ccsmain.carmeleducationalfoundation.org
The search and menu are over the header image in firefox and dropped down in chrome.
Looks fine to me in all 3 browsers. Did you clear your browser cache.
I can’t see any problem in Chrome, I.E or FF.
Thanks so much for your help.
Not really sure what I did…
I added the search and menu to the widget (like you suggested) and then made the changes below.
background: #090909 url(images/header.png) center repeat-y;
background-position: center !important; (changed from left)
margin: 0 auto;
Image Header – Partial Width
float: center (changed from left)
It made the header a little higher than I like, but not sure what to do about that (more room at top than bottom) and the image (the logo and tag line) seems to be a little more to the right than center. Any thoughts?
Back up now…
