    I am working with a modified Outreach theme and need one page to have a different background color. Best way to do this? Custom template? CSS? I tried css with page/post ID #, but didn’t get it to work with #inner. Thoughts? Thanks in advance! Site is not available to view yet – sorry for no link.

    Try this:
    [css]
    .demo-class #content {
    background: red;
    }
    [/css]

    You’ll need to add a custom body class in the Layout Settings on th edit post screen of the post you want to customize named demo-class.

    Or you can use the postid which you can grab from the body classes in the source code.

    I tried post-3044 #content { background: red; } and no luck. I am trying to replace the brown texture and black in the background with a solid color. Thanks again for any help!
