    Hello,

    In Outreach Pro Header logo is to be uploaded in 340 × 100 pixels. I need to upload a much bigger logo. How can I do this? Is there a plugin that helps customizing the header?

    Thanks,

    Andres

    In functions.php, find this code:

    //* Add support for custom header
    add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
        'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
        'header-text'     => false,
        'height'          => 100,
        'width'           => 340,
    ) );

    Change height and width to suit, say 1140 x 200px for example.

    From the menu Appearance > Header, upload the image at 1140x200px. Save.

    In style .css, change these to suit your dimensions, for our example:

    .title-area {
        width: 1140px;
    }

    .header-image .site-title > a {
            min-height: 200px;
    }

    Plugins? This was once available, but I cannot say if it works or is supported.

    There’s a bunch of tutorials available on for modifying headers/images. A bit of Google and you should find something to help out.

    Hi! This was extremely helpful. I did it and resized my header logo, but now, if I add a widget to the header right widget area, it goes below the logo. I changed this:

    .site-header .widget-area {
    width: 600px;
    }

    to:

    .site-header .widget-area {
    width: 300px;
    }

    But it didn’t seem to make a difference. The widget made the header higher. The header logo was set to 500×120. How can I keep the right widget to not push below the logo?

    Oops. Nevermind. I found out. It needed to be changed here:

    .site-header .widget-area {
    float: right;
    padding-top: 14px;
    text-align: right;
    width: 740px;
    }

    From 740 to 300. 300 may not be correct, but at least I know where to find it. :-)
