I see the demo (http://demo.studiopress.com/outreach/) has been fixed. There were a number of things that I had to fix in mine and now they seem to be fixed on the demo. I looked at the version in my download area. Were the changes that were made to the demo updated in our download area?

January 6, 2013 at 10:23 am #9938nickthegeekMemberWhat things are you referring to?
January 6, 2013 at 11:29 am #9946AnitaKeymasterThe slider was offset. The image that used to be there was not centered. There was extra padding on the right. Also, the thumbnail images in the Demo do not have the shaded border around them any longer, so somehow that was removed from the demo. There's other little things too that I had to change and other reported some on the forum as well.

January 6, 2013 at 11:49 am #9951AnitaKeymasterJanuary 25, 2013 at 8:15 am #14583AnitaKeymasterThe Demo Outreach theme has been corrected and styled differently that the original file download. Issues in the original file look to be corrected, however there isn't a new download available to us and there are repeat problems being noted on the board. If you look at my LINK to Google cache - you will see that the two versions are totally different. The slider width, white spacing around the slider and the borders around the thumbnail images are different in both versions.
Can someone please address the issue with Outreach? Thank you.

January 25, 2013 at 9:44 am #14596Bill MurrayMember@anitac - Can you take a look at our demo of Outreach 2? It's virtually a copy of the SP demo, but it doesn't show the errors you mention and doesn't show the problems in your cache link above.
If you are more specific about the problems, I can see if we applied any fixes, but from memory I don't think we did.

January 25, 2013 at 10:03 am #14606johnsamwallaceMemberThere seems to be a problem with my CSS file on my Outreach theme. The width for the #content-sidebar-wrap is set to 100% but a 10px padding is added to the #content, pushing it outside the wrapper. This is responsible for the extra white space on the right side of the slider images. Changing .full-width-content #content to a fixed 1040px should fix this.
January 25, 2013 at 12:59 pm #14678AnitaKeymasterThanks @johnsamwallace, I've been changing the 100% to 98% and it worked for me.
@bill-murray, that area in the slider is one issue. The second issue is the inability to center the header which Nick provided the code for that in a previous forum discussion. There are others on here with issues - just search for Outreach and you'll find them.

March 12, 2013 at 11:28 am #25670PaulMember@Bill-Murray, you pointed to the demo for Outreach 2; is that the current Outreach download, or is this an unreleased update?

PaulMarch 12, 2013 at 12:25 pm #25682Bill MurrayMember@Paul - We do managed WP hosting where we have premium themes. The demo I linked to is our demo of Outreach (which we call Outreach 2, since we also have the original Outreach). It's designed to be as close a copy as reasonably possible of the StudioPress demo, since we used the XML file that comes with the theme. Off the top of my head, I don't recall that we made any changes to the childtheme's stylesheet. We almost always make some changes to the theme's functions.php, but those are primarily to adjust for things on our network. Our demo should be pretty close to the current download, but it's not an exact copy, and since we're not StudioPress, this isn't really an "unreleased" update as we don't release it.
If you see something that works better or doesn't work, let me know and I can track it down.

March 12, 2013 at 7:11 pm #25763jbculpParticipantI uploaded a 1040 x 400 image to a page as a featured image, linked it to the slider and something resized it to 920 x 400. The result is a white space on the right. What is the fix for this?
OK that was voodoo. I uploaded the image to a different page and it used the 1040 size. Still have too big a white space but will try the 98% fix discussed.
