    Hello
    I want to create a child-theme for Genesis Framework.
    Unfortunately it does not work as I’ve done this for other themes.

    /*
            Theme Name: Genesis Child Theme
            Theme URI: http://my.studiopress.com
            Description: A mobile responsive and HTML5 theme built for the Genesis Framework.
            Author: StudioPress
            Author URI: http://www.studiopress.com/
            Version: 1.0
            Template: genesis
            Template Version: 2.0
            License: GPL-2.0+
            License URI: http://www.opensource.org/licenses/gpl-license.php
    */

    The child-theme looks – without any entry – already different from the original Genesis Framework.
    I just need a few small changes. Because updates of the framework I would like to do this in an own child-tehme.

    What must I do so that the child-thme running properly?

    Thanks for answers and sorry for my bad english-

    What are you using as the base for your child theme? Are you using the 2.0 Sample Child Theme or did you create one on your own? Just to be noted, you shouldn’t modify the Genesis Framework files at all.

    Are you developing a separate child theme? Or are you modifying the Genesis Framework files, CSS?

    No, you don’t modify the Genesis Framework! You should be using the Genesis Sample to build your child theme. Go to your my.studiopress.com account on here. Look in the Downloads for the Sample. Use that and only modify those files and not the framework.
