I am working on a site for a client and they are requesting a ton of custom page formatting. They have provided the mockup of how they want it to look as well as the graphics to add and I am having such a hard time getting it to all line up and look right.

Here is an example of what I have so far: http://singletosmitten.com/about-me/ The major issue is getting the little graphics to line up and be centered with the text. Is there code that I can add so that the exclamation point will center next to the text? There are also little graphics before and after the “MY STORY” and they are off.

What can I do to make it look better? Is there code that I can add? I really want to give the client what they want, but not sure it is possible with my limited coding knowledge. What are your thoughts?

For the exclamation mark (and images like them), add: vertical-align: text-bottom; and then adjust the padding from there if you need to (I’d clear the margins).

For the tildes on either side of “My Story” and “My Biography”, use: vertical-align: middle; and then adjust padding as needed.

    Hope that helps!

    Thankyou so much.

OK, so here is the image code for the exclamation point. Is this how I would do it?

Wait, I now realize WHERE I have to add the code – in the image settings (edit image) under “advanced settings” there is a place for “styles”. I added your code there and it works! Learned something new! Yay!
