Hello, I am having a problem with the background on homepage section 5 parallax pro theme. I thought it was something in my CSS, but I replaced my custom CSS with the default from the theme, and for some reason the background for widget area 5 (I just popped in the Genesis User Profile) is not showing up as a full-width background.
I would love some help figuring out what is happening here, I just want it to look like the other photo backgrounds on the other widgets, eg. stretch fully across the page thanks!
http://laurendev.wordpresstest.net/March 3, 2014 at 2:12 pm #93256SMB-devMemberYou should only have a TEXT Widget installed for your Home Section 5 - if you are following the Default theme settings?
It looks like you have a User Profile that somehow is overwriting the default Text Widget settings.
Make sure all you have activated for that Widget is a Text Widget....that will get you back to a starting base, if that's not the case, then there may be still some vestige of your css mod that is interfering with the widget default setting.
Hope this helps.

March 3, 2014 at 2:25 pm #93258senordeerMemberHey there, thanks for the tip, I replaced it with a text widget, the text does have a shortcode in it, but now the widget title is appearing in the area and the actual text is appearing below?
March 3, 2014 at 2:44 pm #93261SMB-devMemberTry disabling the contact form you are using and just insert Text to see if the BG Image fully stretches.
It looks like the issue may be the Contact Form Plug-in you are using. It appears that the java script is conflicting with the
Theme.Try something like Contact Form 7 - it's very basic but it will get you up and running if you don't want to use a Premium Plug-in like Gravity Form

March 3, 2014 at 2:53 pm #93262senordeerMemberOkay no problem, I actually deleted the offending contact form plugin, then added contact form 7 and it still didn't work, then I deleted the whole shortcode from the widget so now I just have an image there (just text not an image widget), still having the widget title appear above, very strange. I know I cleared out all of my CSS and the CSS that is there now is straight up from the original theme file.
March 3, 2014 at 3:26 pm #93265SMB-devMemberThat is strange. Try disabling your image MAP that is above this widget and see if that pulls your image back. Something is causing your image for Widget 5 to only display at 1140 x 126.
It also looks a table of some type is also showing for widget 5.
Remove all the widgets from Section 5 and try a NEW instance of a text only widget....something is saving over the top of your current widget. Then refresh your browser and clear cache...
