Good morning
my site is "upsamendrisiotto.ch".
Under the bar Call to action you can see the word [Continua...], in Italian is a read more.
I would like to remove the parenthesis, but I can not find anything.
I also tried with your instructions here:http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-excerpts/#content-more-link
in functions.php but does not work here.
I tried to change the details content archive in genesis settings but nothing.
maybe it's really a stupid thing, it is the first time it happens, usually I never had any problems.
you can have some more information?thank you very much
greetings
http://upsamendrisiotto.chAugust 16, 2013 at 2:44 am #56743photasticMemberperhaps if you can post a part of your functions.php file containing the snippet itself, the one above & the one below so we can try to find out what's going wrong?
Could be a small typo that's causing it not to work...

August 16, 2013 at 3:27 am #56758photasticMemberstrange stuff... indeed, now I see that it exists on the site but not in your copied code...
try putting your functions.php code between code tags here on the forum... Then it should come over and then the links aren't parsed either...

August 16, 2013 at 4:02 am #56764StewartMemberHi,
Try changing this line in your code :
add_filter( 'the_content_more_link', 'sp_read_more_link' );
To
add_filter( 'get_the_content_more_link', 'sp_read_more_link' );
hopefully that will resolve your issue.

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsAugust 16, 2013 at 4:25 am #56772StewartMemberSure,
As far I my understanding goes the 'the_content_more_link' is a WordPress filter which is applied in 'wp-includes/post-template.php'.
And the 'get_the_content_more_link' is the name of the filter that genesis has used to filter the 'the_content_more_link' in 'genesis/lib/functions/formatting.php'
Hopefully that explains it a bit better 🙂
