I'm working on a website for a client and she wants her post dates to have a nice looking icon like the one on this website - http://www.janisallen.com/blog/. I'm actually redoing that theme in a Genesis Child Theme because that theme she is using is flawed and the developer refuses to help with it becuase the theme CSS has been modified. (Don't get me started). Anyway, I've got all the CSS to accomplish it and I have the image for the background. But, I'm having trouble getting it to show up.
I'm building her website by greatly modifying the Associate Child Theme and I don't see an archive.php or any of the other post page templates in the Associate Child Theme. It appears that Associate uses the Genesis Core sheets and I know not to modify those.
You want an image to the left of the post info data?
I wrote about this already in another thread but it was a fair while ago:

I had seen that post as well, but that was not what I was after. I was after showing the date of the post using a calendar. I actually figured it out about six hours after I posted my question, but it was so late, I didn't come back to post here. May of the solutions I found online didn't work even though people were claiming they were "Genesis" solutions - they may have just been old. After trying about 50 various "solutions", I found one that worked perfectly. With a little CSS configureation, I got that to show up correction.
Thanks for posting back though.
