    Hi,

    I just updated my site with the MIndstream theme. I love the design touches of the theme, however, I would like to have the ability to have the post title appear both in the post and also in the post summaries. I looked but couldn’t find anything that would let me turn that feature on or off. I realize the post category icons help streamline the look, but not knowing the subject (title) od a post makes it hard for anyone browsing posts to know what the post is about.

    Hi Emilio,

    In the Mindstream functions.php file, there is a section that looks like this:

    add_action( 'genesis_before_post', 'mindstream_remove_elements' );
    /**
     * If post has post format, remove the title, post info, and post meta.
     * If post does not have post format, then it is a default post. Add
     * title, post info, and post meta back.
     *
     * @since 1.0
     */
    function mindstream_remove_elements() {

    	// Remove if post has format
    	if ( get_post_format() ) {
    		remove_action( 'genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
    		remove_action( 'genesis_before_post_content', 'genesis_post_info' );
    		remove_action( 'genesis_after_post_content', 'genesis_post_meta' );
    	}
    	// Add back, as post has no format
    	else {
    		add_action( 'genesis_post_title', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
    		add_action( 'genesis_before_post_content', 'genesis_post_info' );
    		add_action( 'genesis_after_post_content', 'genesis_post_meta' );
    	}

    }

    What that does is remove the post title, post info, and post meta from any of the custom post types. If you remove that entire section from functions.php and save, your posts should show titles again. (If something happens and you don’t like the way it looks, you can always copy and paste the code above and re-insert it into functions.php.

    Hope that helps!
