I am using Postie to bring in this content from an email and post it to
the site. The format gets all messed up on the page. You can see the
original format here:
http://wg.inspiredmediadev.com/email/email_sample.htmlWe use the exact same method on a standard twenty fourteen them and the
format stays in tact.We are using WordPress 4.3.1 | Genesis 2.2.3 | Enterprise Pro 2.2.1
I am assuming we need to do something with the css on the post template
page or create a new post template for this. Just need some directionURL

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

To fix it, remove table styles below or can create a class to assign to other tables and turn these the following classes to only affect certain tables (see second chunk):
/* Tables --------------------------------------------- */ table { border-collapse: collapse; border-spacing: 0; line-height: 2; margin-bottom: 40px; width: 100%; } tbody { border-bottom: 1px solid #ddd; } td, th { text-align: left; } td { border-top: 1px solid #ddd; padding: 6px 0; } th { font-weight: 700; text-transform: uppercase; }
Use a class instead:
/* Tables --------------------------------------------- */ table.table-style { border-collapse: collapse; border-spacing: 0; line-height: 2; margin-bottom: 40px; width: 100%; } .table-style tbody { border-bottom: 1px solid #ddd; } .table-style td, .table-style th { text-align: left; } .table-style td { border-top: 1px solid #ddd; padding: 6px 0; } .table-style th { font-weight: 700; text-transform: uppercase; }

Put this last in your style.css for your theme:
#backgroundTable td { padding: 0!important; border: 0!important; } #backgroundTable tr { padding: 0px!important; border: 0!important; } #backgroundTable, #backgroundTable table { border-collapse: separate; empty-cells: hide; border-spacing: 1; margin: 0; }

November 12, 2015 at 4:12 pm #170940InspiredMediaMemberThanks. I will give it a try. I really appreciate your help.
