A client has asked me to setup their “blog” portion of their website to appear on an existing page. In the past I would just go into WordPress Admin > Settings > Reading and change the Front Page Display settings.
But in this case, I have already built a Custom Home Page and if I change the setting in the above area, the Home page goes bye bye.
I’ve gone through the Codex and saw http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages#A_Page_of_Posts – but will this effect EVERY page? I just want it one particular page. Using Genesis, wasn’t sure if the rules were different.
And to clarify, on this “Page” they want the 5-10 Most recent posts from a variety of categories, not just one category.
Perfect! Didn’t even think of that – thank you!
